Special
Today was a hard day. It had a special with 334 Km, and it is an important stage, because it opens a sequence of long specials: today 334, tomorrow 393 and then 487. These are hard days, which are going to demand will and responsibility. They will have to go fast, but in a safe way, in order not to damage the vehicle. Experience is going to count, and those who know how to save the car will be better.
Bikes
In bikes, I think that everything is going as expected: Zé Hélio won the hard special, and his experience was important. Denisio do Nascimento was todays surprise, not for his speed, but for this being his first Sertões. He rode fast today, but I know his goal is to ride steady and finish Sertões among the five best. Thaigo Fantozzi had problems today, he twisted his ankle, but he is still in the race. He is alive and he is going to make a fast rally, but he needs to concentrate more in order not to compromise the race. Ike Klaumman made the fourth time, and he is a fest pilot. Juca made the fifth time and the bets are he is placing among the five best. Keeping a low profile, there may be a pilot that rode very well today and is a talented pilot: Rodolpho Mattheis, very well physically prepared.
Quads
The race was between Cristiano and Collet Jr, and there is also Rodrigo Varela. Marcio Oliveira, if he solves his mechanical problems, has a chance of getting a good result, and there is Giovanni, that may get a good result for his steady pace, he goes for it, and this is a good opportunity. But Cristiano eand Collet are going to rule, and the winner must keep good results.
Cars
Both Touaregs in first, with Sainz and Nasser in first; Riamburgo (I said he was keeping a low profile) placed third; Jean fourth, and Varela fifth. Tomorrow, the five of them must be in the leading positions. But other pilots have chances also, like Romeu Franciosi and Deco, Felipe Bibas, that may get good results. Pilots that are used with long races will be able to show better results these next days.
