Carlo Collet wins last stage and does not stop Cristiano Sousa from winning the title

The last quads special, in Sertões International Rally 17ª edition, started with the champion practically defined. Cristiano Sousa started the trail this Friday (3) with the hand on the trophy and managed his advantage. The winner of the day was Carlo Collet, who won his fourth special. He finished the 93 kilometers in 1h23min02.

The second one to arrive was Márcio de Oliveira, with time of 1h25min16, followed by José Demontier, with 1h28min05. The champion of the competition performed the fourth bet time, with total of 1h31min50.

Giovani Vassopoli was the fifth to arrive, finishing in 1h41min25. Bruno Sperancini however, who performed the sixth time, helped Heronaldo de Oliveira to finish the route towing the opponent after a problem.

Bruno had the total time of 2h03min44 and Heronaldo, 2h05min44, closing the quads special.

Sousa’s advantage The difference in the end of Cristiano Sousa’s race, champion, compared to Carlo Collet, vice champion, was of 24min40.

The third position in the category is Bruno Sperancini’s, followed by José Demontier, in the fourth position, Giovani Vassopoli, in fifth, Heronaldo de Andrade, in sixth, and Márcio de Oliveira in the seventh position.
