In the largest stage at Sertões, Zé Hélio keeps leading and scores best time

The longest stage of the 17th Sertões International Rally took place this Saturday, betweem Minaçu (GO) and Palmas (TO). There were 753 kilometers in total, 20 initial liaison, 373 timed special, and 360 kilometers final liaison. The terrain was full of obstacles, with low and medium speed sections, and Zé Hélio, for the fourth time, made the fastest time, a total of 5h13min56.

The second pilot to finish the section was Denísio do Nascimento, 5h22min46, followed by Polish pilot Jacek Czachor, 5h39min23, Pedro Bianchi, 5h38min56 and Jakub Przygonski, 5h21min06.

On quads, Cristiano Sousa maintained his good performance and scored the best time, in a total of 5h52min40. Carlo Collet arrived second, in 6h00min05.

Best Times In this fourth day, Jakub Przygonski made the second best time, behind Zé Hélio. The Polish pilot left the third place to Denísio do Nasciment, and Juca Bala, in fourth, made 5h36min08.

Pedro Bianchi, that couldn´t finish the special yesterday, made the fifth best time and is on his way to recover after his disappointment when getting to Minaçu towing his bike. Jacek Czachor was sixth, followed by Guto Klaumann, 5h45min04, João Ricardo Geaquinto, 5h46min27, Fabrício Bianchini, 5h47min35 and Rodolpho Mattheis, in 10th with5h57min09.

Sergio Ribeiro, Dimas Mattos, João Tagino, Clécio Maestrelli and Márcio di Paolo followed on the grid. Times are extra-official.
