With five titles under his belt, as the Braziilan three time champion, and victorious in the International Sertões Rally in 2009, and lots of experience to vie for one more championship. This already defines what Jean Azevedos strategy will be. In the previous Sertões editions, the rider participated in the Car category. Now, in the the 20 years history of the rally, he is coming back on two wheels to win another trophy.
In São Luis, Azevedo spoke to the Webventure team and commented on the expectations. After four years, I came back to the motorbikes, with which I won a few times. This year will be very competitive because there are several active riders who are doing very well, he stated.
The route was another point that called the riders special attention. In this commemorative edition there will be a lot of sand in the test, this is a different characteristic, but I personally like this type of track very much. It is a new challenge.
This Saturday (18) morning , favoritism was on his side. He pressed his KTM450 Rally accelerator and managed the best time during the prime, with 1m40. Followed by Felipe Zanol and Nielsem Bueno.
