Already in the two first stages of the rally Guido Salvinis truck, Weidner Moreira and Fernando Chwaigert faced problems that, not only discouraged the trios, left them with a difference of around one hour and a half to the first position in the T4.2 category. It was very difficult to change the difference separating us from the first position. But the whole team joined forces and we were able to turn everything into a positive trauma, said Guido Salvini.
After overcoming this event the trio in truck 405 we did not want to be behind anyone, or have the windscreen broken. On Friday, we faced a very narrow section, with very low trees and this forced us to reduce speed, because the lower branches were hitting the truck very hard, explained the champion in T4.2 category.
Still in Natal (RN) the champion celebrated his second title in the trucks category and the participation in his ninth Sertões. As long as I live I will not give up, joked the pilot.
He also pointed out that during the competition the difference between both truck categories is very big and there is a lot of changes needed. What surprised me the most in the rally was the fact that Edu Pianos truck achieved the seventh time in the grand total in one of the stages. This shows that the route needs to be reconsidered, because there is no way a large truck can compete the same way as a small truck, stated Salvini, who since last year asks the organization of the race to change the measures of trucks in the T4.1 category.
