Straight from Goiás (GO) In his début in Sertões International Rally, the young pilot Rodrigo Varella suffered more than he imagined in the first day of the race, that happened yesterday, 24th, between Goiânia and Santa Helena.

“There were still around two Km to the fuel station, when I ran out of gas”, he commented. Under a scorching sun, the only way for the pilot was to hop down and push. “I was lucky that a friend was close, and he helped me pushing the quad to the station. It was hard, but today it was even harder”, he said, referring to today’s difficulties.

Even facing such problems, Varella managed to finish the race in third place. “The quad is not so heavy, but pushing it is way too hard”, he finishes.
