Quads still have the same leader after nine specials. Cristiano Sousa made the second time of the day, totaling 2h27min47, 6min10 behind Carlo Collet, winner of the day, with 2h21min37. The difference between them is 33min09, after three victories from Collet and one from Heronaldo de Andrade, in the eight special.

Márcio de Oliveira scored the third time, as he finished the 141 Km special between Juazeiro do Norte (CE) and Caicó (RN) in 2h28min31. Heronaldo left the first place to be the 4th, in 2h31min19.

Bruno Sperancini was the 5th pilot of the day on quads, completing the race in 2h39min51. José Demontier, sixth on the course, finalized the dispute in 2h49min00.

This Friday, 3rd, the competitors will ride the last special of Sertões International Rally, and will face the dunes arriving to Natal. Cristiano’s advantage gives him liberty to ride in a tranquil pace, but the competition title will only get to his hands if nothing bad happens.
